A follow up post to the weapons shoot, this set of photos is taken by my wife using her Lumix LX3. While I was preparing for the shoot, she went around taking various snapshots.

Photoshoot : A showcase of weapons (and much more)
I have long wanted to do a photoshoot to showcase all my props but have put it off due to various reasons. After the creation of my latest prop and requests from fellow owners, I have decided to get off my butt and do this series of shots.
The weather didn't favor me and I am unable to take all of what I had planned in mind before the skies pours down.
Without much ado, please enjoy the following series of pictures !
The following pictures are for the Force Series weapons.
Close-ups of Shia and her awfully hard to take metallic eyes
Lastly, an omake.
Thank you for viewing and feel free to leave any comments and feedback.

Photoshoot : A new beginning
I am no photographer myself, not now and definitely not 4 years ago when my very first doll, Shia, arrives. This set of photos was taken 4 years ago at Chjimes, a very nice spot in the heart of town. The other doll, Niji (虹), belongs to my wife Evon. She does doll hats and accessories and you can view her works here. She is also available for custom commission hats should you desire one for your resin kids.

Photoshoot : Fate/Stay Night - Saber Variant
Besides being a weapon fanatic, I am also into creating variants, be it original or otherwise. No doubt it would be more satisfying to portrait a character you fancy onto your doll in all its glory, sometimes don't you wonder if it would be more fun to create a variant instead ?
The character : Saber (Fate/Stay Night)
Saber, of Fate/Stay Night fame, is possibly be one of the most prolific sword wielding character in recent times. Such is her popularity that she is even made into a Dolfie Dream doll. She is a sword user (plus point for me !) and she definitely has a nice dress outside of all her armor (which I am still trying to create).
Love for a character can be expressed in many ways and the way I choose to show it is to create a variant. For this, I had a custom Saber dress tailored for Shia in shades of red and black and with the help of my friend, mori.m, we trekked off to a coastal area to do this shoot. mori.m has been a great friend of mine and my wife and is also the one who
